Tribest Citristar Electric Citrus Juicer Review

The Tribest Citristar Electric Citrus Juicer is one of the best citrus juicers around. Its universal ream allows for any sized citrus fruit to be juiced, all I have to do is cut the fruit in half and start juicing. The stainless steel screen is perfectly designed to prevent any kind of clogging, but also does a great job of delivering pulp free juice. The 85-watt motor makes this juicer one of the quietest on the market, but also allows for maximum juice extraction.

 

Pros:

• One Touch Operation – Perhaps the best thing about this citrus juicer is its easy one touch operation. With this machine, I no longer have to worry about turning it on or off using a hard to find switch. Once I start pressing down with the fruit the juicer automatically turns on and will automatically turn off once I take the fruit away from the juicer.
• Spouts is made from stainless steel and locks into place – One problem that I have seen with citrus juicers is the acid from the citrus juice ruining the machine because the machine wasn’t durable enough to withstand the acid. To prevent the acid from ruining the juice spout it is made from stainless steel, but even better is it locks into place. Locking into place is nice because I don’t have to worry about the spout accidentally moving while I am juicing and spilling juice all over the counter.
• One Size Ream For All Fruits – The reamer on this unit is a universal reamer, which means it will handle all citrus fruit. No matter how big or small the fruit is it will easily fit onto the ream. Not only will it fit but also the ream will juice the citrus fruit until nothing is left.
• Adjustable cord length – Another interesting feature with this unit is the adjustable cord length. Many units come with a standard sized cord, which if I want to adjust that cord I have to tie it up with cable ties. This unit has an adjustable length cord that allows me to easily use just the amount of cord that I need and the rest of the cord is easily stored away.

 

Cons:

• Bowl doesn’t have a pour spout – The worst thing about this machine is the bowl used to collect the juice that is extracted from the fruit. The problem with the bowl is that it doesn’t come equipped with a pour spout, making it very difficult to pour the juice into a glass. When only making one or two glasses of juice I simply out the glass directly under the pour spout, otherwise I use the bowl and dump it into an airtight pitcher for storage.

 

The Citristar Juicer is one of the most affordable juicers on the market for citrus fruits. One of the best things about this unit is how easy it is to use and clean, despite the fact that it has quite a few parts. Even better is that the unit comes with a one year warranty, which gives me peace of mind just in case something goes wrong.
