Juiceman JM400 Juiceman Jr. Electric Juicer Review

The Juiceman JM400 Juiceman Jr. 2-Speed Electric Juicer is the perfect juicer for people who are just getting started with juicing. One of my favorite things about this juicer is that it comes with a 700-watt motor that allows users to choose from two different speeds allowing for maximum extraction. Another bonus is the design of the juicer; the chrome-plated housing makes it a beautiful addition to just about any kitchen. The juicer also comes with a ¾-quart jug that allows for airtight storage of freshly made juice in the fridge.

 

Pros:

• See-Through Lid – One of the nicest features that this unit comes with is the see-through lid. I like this feature because I can easily look into the juicer and see what is going on. It also helps me keep track of how much pulp has been produced, so I know when to empty the pulp bin.

 

• Large Feed Chute – Another amazing feature with this juicer is the larger feed chute. With the large feed chute, I don’t have to take as much time chopping up my fruits and vegetables, so it saves time on my prep work. By not having to prep as much, I can easily make a glass of juice in about a minute for myself, while it might take a bit longer to make one for the entire family.

 

• 2 Speeds – The 700-watt motor provides users two different speeds to juice with. I love having the ability to change the speeds because some fruits and vegetables, mainly the hard ones, need to be juiced on a faster speed, while softer fruits and vegetables juice best on a slower speed.

 

• Removable Pulp Container – The removable pulp container is a huge plus because it helps make clean up simply. Even better, this pulp container will easily hold a plastic grocery bag. The plastic grocery bag allows for even faster clean up because the pulp is not getting all over everything and I don’t have to touch the pulp to clean it up.

 

Cons:

• Rigid Plastic Pieces – The only concern that I have is the rigid plastic pieces that come with this juicer. TO me these pieces seem like they are more apt to break, although mine have lasted for quite awhile now, even with the heavy juicing that I do. I would feel better if the pieces were made from a softer type of plastic, but this is the only drawback to the machine.

 

The Juiceman JM400 juicer is a great addition to any kitchen. One of the best things about this juicer is that it is so easy to use and clean up; the parts are also dishwasher safe. The juicer comes with a scrub brush to help clean the mesh filter from pulp. After using this juicer, I have to say I am still impressed with the quality of juice that it provides in such a short amount of time.
